The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will host Microsoft representatives for a series of public events on Sept. 7-8. The events include a coding competition, tech talk and a “Meet Microsoft” session.
The schedule of events is:
Coding Competition — 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 7, Avery Hall Room 118 — Students should bring a laptop and may bring up to two friends to this coding competition event. Participatants have a chance to win a $150 gift card and Xbox One.
Meet Microsoft — 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sept. 8, Avery Hall — Microsoft employees and UNL alumni will be available to answer questions about working in the tech industry. Students are encouraged to bring resumes.
Tech Talk — 6:30 to 8 p.m. Sept. 8, Avery Hall Room 118 — Information will be provided on data needs for product feedback and improvement.
All events are free and open to the campus community.
