Nancy Myers (right) is retiring after 28 years at the university. She has helped thousands of university faculty and staff through leadership in human resources programs.

A retirement reception for Nancy Myers, director of organizational development with Human Resources, is 4 to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 13 in the Nebraska Union (room posted).

Through her 28 years at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, Myers has helped thousands of faculty, staff and administrators.

Hired in July 1990, Myers was the first director of the university’s Employee Assistance Program. In June 2005, Myers took on a new role as director of organizational development, helping employees and campus units with strategic planning, team development, team building, change management, organizational restructuring, work climate assessment, training and leadership development. Recently, Myers has contributed to universitywide human resources development projects.

Since 2007, Myers has served as an adviser for the university’s curling club.

Myers’ retirement reception is free and open to the public.
