University of Nebraska–Lincoln garage permits are linked to a vehicle’s license plate and NCard. The system scans the plate at entry and exit to verify registration.
If the plate cannot be read or the vehicle does not have a front plate, scan the NCard at the kiosk. Having an NCard available guarantees backup access to garages.
If the gates do not open, use the kiosk intercom. Press and hold the button with the phone icon until parking staff respond and assist.
