The Nebraska Alumni Association added three talented and accomplished individuals to its Council of Alumni Ambassadors.
The 50-member Council of Alumni Ambassadors represents the University of Nebraska–Lincoln's nine colleges and a range of class years, geographic communities and professions. Members serve three-year terms, meeting semi-annually on campus to be briefed on issues facing the university, to experience firsthand the programs of campus and the alumni association and to lend their input from an alumni perspective.
“The council helps the Alumni Association foster meaningful connections between Huskers past, present and future,” said Shelley Zaborowski, executive director of the Nebraska Alumni Association. “The group is an advocacy arm for the university and helps us champion alumni interests and strengthen the Nebraska tradition.”
New members of Alumni Ambassadors are:
- Steven Meints, 1993, 1997, attorney, U.S. Army and Army Reserve JAG Corps, Orlando, Florida;
- Keri Mesropov, 1992, founder and executive director, Spring Talent Development, Centennial, Colorado; and
- Benjamin Trampe, 2014, agronomy data lead, CSS Farms, Axtell, Nebraska.
