“Momentum” and “Sun,” the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s institutional TV spots, have been recognized with Muse Creative Advertising Awards by an international jury of industry professionals.
The Muse Awards are a global competition with entrants’ work considered by a panel of renowned advertising executives, artists and creative directors. Nebraska’s two PSAs were honored alongside work from Firefox, Texaco, Warner Bros. and other household brand names.
“Sun,” which received a gold Muse award, showcases the unrelenting spirit of Husker Nation, reminding everyone that Nebraska never backs down from a challenge. “Momentum,” which won a silver award, tells the story of Nebraska’s upward trajectory. It highlights the innovative, forward-thinking mentality of Husker students, faculty and staff, as well as their groundbreaking research, outreach and learning.
The creative team behind the spots sought to highlight the unique qualities of Nebraska, striking a balance between its cutting-edge work and timeless can-do attitude.
The spots were produced in-house using talents from University Communication and Marketing, and Academic Services Enrollment Management.
