The 2022 Nebraska Teachers of Color Summit will be held May 6 and 7 in Lincoln.
Hosted by the Department of Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, organizers aim to help build a professional network of dedicated educators from across Nebraska who can use the event to share ideas for meeting the needs of Nebraska’s diverse students. Participants will have ample opportunities to network and foster new collaborations and conversations.
On May 6 the event will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Nebraska Student Union, Regency Suite. On May 7, the event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Willa Cather Dining Hall, Red Cloud Suite A.
Register by April 28 on the College of Education and Human Sciences website. There is no cost to attend, but registration is required. A limited online option is available for those unable to attend in person.
The event is sponsored by the Nebraska State Education Association, Department of Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education, College of Education and Human Sciences, University of Nebraska-Lincoln Racial Justice Alliance and the M3 Initiative.
