The updated About Lincoln resource includes a variety of explorations for Huskers — prospective and current — to learn more about the Lincoln community.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has launched a new webpage to help audiences near and far explore the city of Lincoln.

The About Lincoln page offers a visual introduction to the city and more information on the cultural, recreational and practical aspects of living in the diverse community where the university is located.

The user-friendly page features eight profiles — Adventurers, Curious, Caffeinated, Kids at Heart, Social Butterflies, Foodies, Local Shoppers and Sports Fanatics — that showcase the broad range of experiences within the Lincoln community. The sections include a vibrant video, photos and URLs to explore — each element built around a central theme that Lincoln is for everyone.

The About Lincoln page features videos that showcase different parts of the community. This one explores shopping in Nebraska's capitol city.

This marks the first redesign of the university’s “About Lincoln” site since 2013. The work included consultations with Academic Services and Enrollment Management.

The webpage serves as a primary resource for those prospective students/families and new employees who wish to know more about the city. It is also accessible to current students, faculty and staff seeking new experiences in the heart of Husker Nation. It will be updated regularly by the University Communication and Marketing team.
