‘New Girl,’ ‘Neighborhood’ star Greenfield to speak March 28

Television and film star Max Greenfield will speak at 7:30 p.m. March 28 in the Nebraska Union Ballroom.

Greenfield is best known for playing Schmidt on the FOX sitcom “New Girl” — a role for which he earned Emmy, Critics’ Choice Television and Golden Globe nominations. He has also appeared in the TV shows “Veronica Mars,” “Ugly Betty,” “Greek,” “American Horror Story: Hotel” and “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.” Greenfield’s film credits include “Ice Age: Collision Course,” “The Glass Castle” and “What Men Want.” He currently stars in the CBS sitcom “The Neighborhood.”

The New York native will discuss his acting career and experiences in Hollywood in a moderated question-and-answer session.

The event, sponsored by UPC Nebraska, is free for students with a valid NCard and $5 for faculty, staff and the public.
