Mary Ellen's Soul Food will open a temporary pop-up shop in the Nebraska Union beginning Dec. 3.
Mary Ellen’s Food for the Soul, a popular food truck north of the Nebraska Union, opened a pop-up shop Dec. 3, providing an additional lunch option.
The pop-up shop is located inside the union near the laptop checkout on the west wall. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Menu items will include pulled pork, brisket, ribs, chicken and other barbecue varieties served with sides and cornbread. The pop-up shop will remain in the Nebraska Union until Chick-fil-A and Steak ‘N Shake open in the spring.
