The University of Nebraska–Lincoln has launched a new summer session website to provide resources for students who are looking to broaden career skills, explore a new topic, catch up or get ahead on their degree requirements.
While the pandemic will again impact summer internships, education abroad programs and other experiences, the website offers a number of opportunities for students to stay engaged in their educational journey. A sampling of the many courses being offered at the university during summer are categorized by topic: career and research skills, discipline-specific, solving grand challenges, and degree completion. Tuition, scholarship and financial aid options, and information on how to register is also available.
In addition to 70 general course offerings highlighted on the website, the new virtual and in-person global experiences offered by Education Abroad are also featured.
A guide to help students choose courses is available on the university registrar's website. Students who have questions about their individual degree plan requirements should contact their academic adviser for help choosing an opportunity that works best for them.
