Philosophy to host Midwest Epistemology Workshop

Andrews

Philosophy will host the 13th annual Midwest Epistemology Workshop in Andrews Hall, Oct. 11-12.

The Department of Philosophy will host the 13th annual Midwest Epistemology Workshop Oct. 11-12.

The workshop aims to advance interest in epistemology — the study of what distinguishes justified belief from opinion — by organizing an annual event featuring presentations and discussion of current work in the field. The workshop also stimulates new research by expanding discussion and interactions with individuals with an interest in epistemology.

The workshop is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. both days in Andrews Hall’s Bailey Library (Room 229). Additional details, including a complete schedule are available online.
