In conjunction with the recent Cost per Copy (CPC) and Managed Print Services (MPS) contract signed with Canon, Print and Mail Services is rolling out updated pricing for fiscal year 2025-26.
While the base prices for black-and-white and color copies remain the same, CPC program participants will receive price discounts based on the volume of copies made during each month of the fiscal year. Black-and-white copies range from 2.5 cents per copy to as low as 1.8 cents per copy. Color copies range from 17 cents per copy to as low as 7 cents per copy at higher volumes.
The MPS program has two changes as well: heavily discounted pricing for program customers who have Canon Image Class printers; and tiered pricing based on the volume of pages printed in the three-month billing cycle.
The tiered price escalation has been implemented to encourage departments and units to choose the lower-cost copier option for printing needs. The price per printed page for black-and-white or color pages increases approximately 1.1% for every additional 1,000 pages printed. The maximum rate is at 5,000-plus pages printed during the quarterly billing period.
Canon Image Class printers on the MPS program will receive substantial discounts when printing black-and-white and color copies — up to 36% for black-and-white and 30% for color prints. Like non-Canon printers, the Canon Image Class pricing increases approximately 1% for each additional 1,000 pages printed. The maximum rate is 5,000 or more pages printed during the quarterly billing period.
