December in-person sessions are:
- NSPIRE: Leading Teams; 8:30 to 11 a.m. Dec. 5 at the Nebraska East Union, Arbor Suite; Explore core principles of effective team leadership, group dynamics, and psychological safety. Gain practical strategies to foster trust and drive performance in dynamic environments.
- NRICH: Power Up Your Professional Development Plan, 10:30 a.m. to noon Dec. 9 at the Nebraska Union, Heritage Room. This hands-on workshop teaches the three essential steps to build a Professional Development Plan. Start documenting your goals and strategies to guide your professional success in 2026.
- NCLUDE Networking: We Are All Teachers (all audiences) hosted by the Center for Transformative Teaching, 10 to 11:30 a.m. Dec. 11 at the Nebraska Union, Regency B-C. Learn the backward design process instructional designers use, applied to training or teaching outside the classroom. The session includes a micro-lesson and speed networking to build connections across campus.
Those who anticipate some natural downtime during this season — or who simply enjoy learning at their own pace — we invite you to explore our asynchronous learning opportunities. These on-demand resources are available anytime and are completely optional. - NRICH: Civility in the Workplace, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 22 at the Nebraska East Union, Prairie Suite. Address workplace civility and psychological safety. Learn practical strategies for fostering respectful communication while maintaining authenticity, focusing on bridging the gap between intent and impact.
