The Center for Transformative Teaching and the Office of Undergraduate Research are accepting research proposals for the International Conference of Undergraduate Research, hosted via video session Sept. 29-30.
The conference will allow undergraduate students to share their research with universities from around the world. Since being established in 2013, over 2,000 students from 11 institutions have presented.
Students will examine global, regional and local trends in their research field while identifying connections between disciplines. Proposals from any discipline or field are encouraged, and interdisciplinary work is particularly welcomed.
Undergraduate researchers present their research in real-time, video-linked sessions with universities from four different continents. Participants in 2019 were Monash University in Melbourne, Australia; the universities of Leeds and Warwick in the UK; Nanyang Technological University in Singapore; Vrije Universiteit Brussels in Belgium; Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain; Baruch College, City University of New York; and the University of British Columbia in Canada.
Students interested in participating should contact Justina Clark or complete this short webform by April 30.
