Public invited to 'Backyard Farmer' filming

For the next live recording of “Backyard Farmer,” Nebraska Public Media is recruiting audience members for the planned interactive show.

Host Kim Todd, Nebraska Extension landscape horticulture specialist, and a panel of Nebraska Extension experts will answer lawn and garden questions.

The taping will take place beginning at 5:15 p.m. July 19 at the green space north of the Woods Art Building, near 11th and R streets, on the University of Nebraska–Lincoln campus. A Q&A with the host at 5:15 p.m. will be followed by the 6 p.m. program recording.

Seating is limited. In case of inclement weather, the event will be held in Swanson Auditorium in the Nebraska Union on City Campus.

This episode of “Backyard Farmer” will air at 7 p.m. July 20 on Nebraska Public Media.
