The Jeffrey S. Raikes School of Computer Science and Management’s annual Design Studio Showcase is April 27 at Nebraska Innovation Campus.
The event will open with a panel discussion featuring Doug Burgum and Kathryn Helgaas Burgum, governor and first lady, respectively, of North Dakota. The panel, which will explore “The Journey from Industry to Public Service,” is 1 p.m. in the Nebraska Innovation Campus Auditorium. It will be moderated by Tricia Raikes.
The Design Studio Showcase follows the panel discussion at 2 p.m.
In the Raikes School’s Design Studio, student teams partner with sponsoring organizations to design and develop real-world, software-based solutions.
The showcase will feature the Design Studio and Senior Design teams that are awarded the Platinum Project Award, an internal award showcasing the teams that deliver the “best” projects by overcoming hurdles and working together.
The event will include 29 team projects on display, along with breakout sessions for more in-depth demonstrations of each project.
