REACH training session open to faculty, staff

The University Health Center transitions to summer hours beginning May 6.

Big Red Resilience and Well-being will host a REACH Suicide Prevention Training for faculty and staff from 1 to 2:30 p.m. June 21 in the University Health Center, Room 126.

REACH is an interactive 90-minute training designed to help the university community prevent suicide by teaching faculty, staff and students how to:

  • Recognize warning signs
  • Engage with empathy
  • Ask directly about suicide
  • Communicate hope
  • Help suicidal individuals to access care and treatment

Staff and faculty can register for the training here.

Big Red Resilience & Well-being also coordinates REACH trainings for groups. Training sessions can be requested on the REACH website.
