Join Community Piano Experience, a group piano class offered with the help of UNL’s Glenn Korff School of Music Piano Pedagogy interns.
Brenda Wristen, director of piano pedagogy and keyboard skills at UNL, is supervising the Community Piano Experience. The program, which started in 2002, offers 11 group piano classes on basic music reading and keyboarding skills.
Classes for the fall semester begin Sept. 13. The classes meet once a week for 90 minutes in UNL’s Westbrook Music Building. UNL piano pedagogy students will teach the classes under the supervision of Wristen.
The class is designed specifically for adults and cost is $175. The class includes 11 weeks of group lessons, a textbook and all additional materials.
