The University Libraries will host a five-day writing retreat May 8-12 in Love Library for faculty and graduate students.
Participants will have hours of uninterrupted writing time in a comfortable environment and engage with fellow writers, receive expert assistance and enjoy good food. Each day of the retreat begins at 8:30 a.m. on the second floor of Love Library South with a continental breakfast. Lunch is provided. Monday through Thursday, the retreat will end at 4:00 p.m.; on Friday, the retreat will end at noon.
Expert advice on writing and publishing will be offered in brief sessions throughout each day. Writing coaches will be available throughout the day to provide guidance and answer questions.
This free retreat requires registration. Forty seats are available. Registration, which opened April 4, is available online.
