The Office of Research and Economic Development is seeking applicants for the 2016-17 Research Development Fellows Program, a year-long program designed to help full-time, pre-tenure faculty obtain the information and experience they need to develop and submit successful external grant proposals. Oct. 3 is the application deadline.
The RDFP is ideal for early-stage faculty intending to submit proposals to federal funding agencies like the Department of Defense, National Institutes of Health, National Science Foundation and U.S. Department of Agriculture. Since its inception in 2009, 132 faculty have completed the program. Positive participant feedback regarding the program and past Fellows’ research funding successes affirm the RDFP’s value.
