Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show will bring audience members back to the heyday of highballs and high rollers at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Lied Center for Performing Arts.
Tickets are on sale here, by phone at 402-472-4747 or at the Lied Center box office, 301 N. 12th St. Tickets are available to students at a 50 percent discount with a valid NCard.
The show – which features performers portraying Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop and Dean Martin – captures the spirit and sound of what made the group’s Las Vegas performances so special. It features a live orchestra and classic songs such as “For Once in My Life,” “My Way” and “Mack the Knife.”
The show’s creator is no stranger to the stage. Being the son of comedian Buddy Hackett, close friend of the original Rat Pack, gives Sandy Hackett unique insight to the renowned “Kings of Cool.” After being asked by Joey Bishop if he would play him in an HBO movie about the famous performers, the show was born.
The performance is supported by Country Inns and Suites, and Legacy Retirement Communities.
