The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is giving the Selleck Hall food court a modern feel this summer.
When complete, the updated space will feature spaces that better meets the needs of students and focused on building community; as well as a gluten-free concept.
“This renovation will provide students with a contemporary dining area that is designed for grabbing a quick meal to go, or sitting down and sharing the meal experience with others,” said David Annis, director of dining services. “With a mix of tables, booths, bar, patio and lounge seating, the Selleck Food Court will provide a variety of seating choices in an active environment.”
The renovation will convert Selleck’s Presidential Dining Room into a new space that allows for glute-free meal options.
“The gluten-free restaurant is important in that it will provide a needed service to students in the core of campus,” Annis said.
The renovations are scheduled for completion by the start of the 2021 fall semester.
