Sheldon to host Uncanny Halloween event Oct. 31

The Sheldon Museum of Art will host an Uncanny Halloween event for those over 21 from 5 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31.

The free event will have flashlight tours of the exhibition "Uncanny Encounters: The Disturbing, Surreal, and Supernatural in American Art," oracle card readings, Minerva's haunted gallery games, a costume contest and a cash bar with Halloween Spirits.

There is barrier-free ramp access to the museum from the parking lot on the north side of the building. A wheelchair will be available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis.
