The University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s 2018 Spring Capstone Exhibition will be on display April 30 to May 4 in the Eisentrager•Howard and Medici galleries in Richards Hall.
The galleries are open weekdays from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.
A closing reception will be held at 5 p.m. May 4 in the Eisentrager•Howard Gallery with awards announced at 6 p.m.
This exhibition features the work of 28 graduating Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Fine Arts majors in studio art and graphic design from the School of Art, Art History and Design. Each student has written a statement to accompany his or her works, which will be on view as well.
This exhibition is held biannually at the end of the fall and spring semesters and presents the work of each semester’s graduating seniors as a culmination of their coursework and exploration in studio art and graphic design.
Studio art students featured in the exhibition include Jessica Dolan, Hannah Eads, Assenet Garcia, Colin Gell, Audrey Jurek, Miranda Knutson, Yoojeong Lee, Emily Lux, Ryan Niemeyer, Emily Reece, Skyler Simpson and Lindsey Yoneda.
Participating graphic design students include Mahra Al Raisi, Morgan Bruggeman, Jinell Carslin, Haley Collins, Natalie Dettmer, Patrick Dooley, Elaina Dye, Emily Gauger, Courtney Hill, Madison Mascare, Madeline Meier, Christopher Miya, Brooklyn Nordhausen, Emily Phuc Tran, Juan Carlos Velasco and Allison Wetig.
