Student section in system for Husker volleyball

Every home game in John Cook Arena, members of Nebraska's Iron N, the official student section organization of Husker Athletics, lead the fun for the best volleyball fans in the country.

The students are knowledgeable superfans and bring the props, costumes, cheers and signs that have become synonymous with Husker volleyball fandom. Click the video below to take a look behind the scenes of the student superfans.

Though regular season play is complete, the student section will have the opportunity to cheer on Husker volleyball on its home court at Bob Devaney Sports Center for NCAA national tournament play. 

During the Nov. 30 NCAA Volleyball Selection Show, the Huskers learned they would lead off the tournament as the No. 1 seed. Their first match is against Long Island University at 7 p.m. Dec. 5 in John Cook Arena. The winners of that match will meet in the second round, again in LIncoln, at 7 p.m. Dec. 6. The games will be carried on ESPN+.

350th sellout

The Nebraska vs. Iowa volleyball match Nov. 20 marked the 350th sellout for Husker volleyball. The sellout streak began in 2001, when games were played at the Coliseum
