Technology is now a big part of the family history research process — scanning, websites, databases and DNA mapping.
What technology can be used to record, preserve and share discoveries? What apps are helpful? Tom McFarland and Joan Barnes, both with University Libraries, will kick off the discussion and talk about some of the technology they use during the next Genealogy over Lunch at 11:30 a.m. Aug. 19, which will be held over Zoom. Participants must register to receive the Zoom link.
Genealogy over Lunch is a University Libraries’ group designed to help individuals explore and organize family history. The group meets every third Thursday of the month. The group welcomes all faculty, staff and students.
