Theatrix, the student-run theatre company within the Johnny Carson School of Theatre and Film at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, continues its 2016-17 season with “Alice vs. Wonderland” by Brendan Shea.
Performances are Nov. 10-13. in the Temple Building’s Lab Theatre.
In this stage adaptation based on Lewis Carroll’s beloved children’s novel, Alice falls down the rabbit hole into Wonderland and desperately needs to find herself before she can find her way back home. Wonderland has updated to join the Internet Age, but is still as mad as ever. Six actors take on the role of Alice, while all company members take on the various characters Alice meets along her way: the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts and more.
Theatrix’s production of “Alice vs. Wonderland” is directed by Jorden Charley-Whatley, a senior theatre performance and directing and management major. Click here for a full list of the cast and crew.
