Sheldon Museum of Art will screen the award-winning documentary “Trust Me” at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 22.
Following the film, there will be a discussion with Rosemary Smith, filmmaker and managing director of the nonpartisan Getting Better Foundation. The event is free and open to the public.
“Trust Me” is a feature-length documentary exploring how media technology is influencing society and what we can do about it. In today’s information landscape, how do you know whom — and what — you can trust? The film won the Walter Cronkite Award for Excellence in Television Political Journalism and the UNESCO Award for Media Literacy in North America.
The screening of “Trust Me” is presented in conjunction with the exhibition “(In)credible: Exploring Trust and Misperceptions,” on view through July 6.
