The University Libraries is calling all students who love maps to showcase their creativity in the third annual GIS Day Map Competition. No specialized GIS skills or GIS software is required to enter the competition.
Maps can be about anything — research, telling a story, or even imagining a fictional world. Winners will receive gift cards, along with certificates, which will be awarded at the GIS Day celebration event Nov. 10. Winning maps will be recognized and displayed during the GIS Day Celebration.
The deadline to submit a map is Oct. 25. Read the full details of the competition and how to submit map here.
