The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Center on Children Families and the Law is offering students, faculty and staff an opportunity to participate in a week of service in recognition of March being National Reading Month.
The event is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 29 to April 1 in the Sharp Building, 7th floor. All four days will feature a time to volunteer and pack more than 35,000 children books and stuff envelopes that will be distributed to Nebraska youth up to age 5. Registration to volunteer is available online.
The center provides an interdisciplinary and collaborative approach to improve systems and outcomes for children and families. Learn more about the Center on Children, Families and the Law and their services and projects on their website.
