Volunteers sought to pack 35,000+ children's books

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Center on Children Families and the Law is offering students, faculty and staff an opportunity to participate in a week of service in recognition of March being National Reading Month.

The event is 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 29 to April 1 in the Sharp Building, 7th floor. All four days will feature a time to volunteer and pack more than 35,000 children books and stuff envelopes that will be distributed to Nebraska youth up to age 5. Registration to volunteer is available online.
