The University of Nebraska–Lincoln Wind Ensemble will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Westbrook Music Building, room 130 with a simulcast in room 119 for overflow seating.
The concert is free and open to the public. It will also be available for remote webcast.
Join the Wind Ensemble for a musical rendition of the roller coaster that is life in the construction zone. The path will lead from the joy of Frank Ticheli’s “Life-Stream,” to the introspection of Roshanne Etezady’s “Against the Rain;” from Ralph Vaughan Williams inexhaustible “The Running Set,” to the quiet awe of Grace Baugher’s “Remembering the Remarkables;” from Daniel Montoya, Jr.’s quirky “Einstein on 6th Street,” to David Maslanka’s epic “California,” ending with the obstacle course that is Kimberly Archer’s “Common Threads.”
