The new National Institutes of Health Data Management and Sharing Policy goes into effect for proposals submitted on or after Jan. 25. The Libraries Research Data Team, comprised of Scout Calvert and Leslie Delserone, will offer monthly in-person workshops to actively assist faculty with data management plans or one-on-one consultations.

The workshops will be offered in a small group setting (maximum eight attendees). Librarians and researchers will write together to draft or complete a plan in 60-90 minutes.

The schedule of January workshops:

Jan. 17 1:30-3:30 p.m. Room 235, Dinsdale Family Learning Commons (Stock Seed Farms Classroom; East Campus). Please register.

Jan. 30 1:30-3:30 p.m. Room 221, Love Library South, City Campus. Please register.

Registrants will be waitlisted in sign-up order once maximum attendance is reached.

For anyone not able to join one of the workshops, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Libraries Research Data Team is also offering one-on-one consultations to help you understand the requirements and submit an actionable plan.
