Bio

Tina Barrett graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May of 1999 with a degree in Agriculture Economics and an emphasis in Farm and Ranch Management. She started as a consultant with Nebraska Farm Business after graduation and have also been the executive director since 2002. She works with clients all across the state helping to solve their financial needs and best manage their tax liabilities.

Bio

A widely published researcher, Sam Allgood studies economic education, the efficiency of taxation, and CEO turnover and compensation. He also researches labor economics, including age discrimination, and microeconomics. His research includes economic education, the efficiency of taxation, and CEO turnover and compensation. He also studies labor economics and microeconomics. Allgood is current chair of the American Economic Association’s (AEA) Task Force for Outreach To Undergraduate and High School Students and a member of the AEA Committee on Equity, Diversity, and Professional Conduct. He is co-editor of the Journal of Economic Education. Allgood’s research has been published in the Journal of Political Economy, Journal of Business, Economic Inquiry, National Tax Journal, Journal of Corporate Finance, and the Journal of Economic Literature among others. He is Edwin J. Faulkner professor of economics at UNL.
