Jason Stanley, a professor at Yale University, will lead a colloquium, “Language as a Mechanism of Control,” at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 19 in Oldfather, Room 1007.
The presentation is based on a chapter in Stanley's book, "Why Propaganda Matters." Participants in the colloquium should read the paper in advance. Copies are available from the Department of Philosophy, 402-472-0524.
