UNL has teamed up with the Food Bank of Lincoln to participate in the annual “Dare to Care” food drive.
The event is a competition between student groups that collect non-perishable food items. Collected food items are used to help provide meals to Lincoln-area families during the Thanksgiving holiday. For more information or to register, go to http://engage.unl.edu/dare-care.
Food barrel donation sites will also be available Nov. 2-6 in the Nebraska and East unions, as well as Henzlik, Oldfather and Plant Sciences halls.
