The percussion ensemble in the Glenn Korff School of Music will perform a “(De)Constructions” recital at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 1 in Kimball Recital Hall.
The concert will feature seminal percussion works, including “Peux from Pleiades” by Iannis Xenakis, “Third Construction” by John Cage, “Hohner” by David Maslanka and “The Doomsday Machine” by Michael Burritt. Works composed by UNL percussionists, including “Indefinite Architecture” by student Mike Roe and “DisArchitecture” by faculty member Dave Hall, will also be performed.
Tickets, $5 for general admission and $3 for students and senior citizens, will be available at the door.
