The UNL Faculty Dance Club is holding its season-opener ballroom dance 7:30 to 10 p.m. Sept. 13 in the East Union Ballroom.
Dances are open to all UNL faculty and staff as well as anyone associated with an educational institution and their friends. Retirees and former educators are welcome.
Dances are held each month, September through April, at the East Union Ballroom from 7:30-10:00 pm.
Live orchestras provide the music. Optional dinners, with varying costs, are held at 6:30 p.m. in the ballroom before each dance. Reservations are required for the dinners and requested for those attending the dance to have the correct amount of tables.
First-time guests may attend for free. Subsequent dances are $25 per nonmember couples. Membership couple dues are $100 per year or $65 per semester.
Dues may be paid at the dance or sent to Lynne & David Smith, 2253 Stone Creek Loop N., Lincoln, NE 68512. Please email waltz@facultydance.org to be added to the mailing list. Click here for more information about the club.
