The “Spring Into … Eating Well for Your Heart and Soul” event will provide participants with guidelines for heart-healthy eating.
The event will be free and open to the public. It will take place on City Campus from 12:10 to 1 p.m. March 17 and at the same time on East Campus on March 19.
During this event, participants will:
Learn guidelines for heart healthy eating;
Learn quick techniques to menu plan for heart health and weight management;
Receive five-ingredients-or-less meals designed for the workday, and
Learn more about the connection between mood and food; and tips to integrate this concept into daily practices.
Participants are welcome to bring their brown-bag lunches. All participants will leave with five heart-healthy ingredients or recipes.
