International Education Week at UNL continues with the International Food Bazaar, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 19 in the Nebraska Union. The event showcases cuisines from around the world.
Registered student organizations representing a variety of countries and cultures will prepare and sell food that is traditional to their background at booths in the Nebraska Union during lunchtime.
International Education Week is an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide. As part of a joint initiative of the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, International Education Week showcases the efforts of programs that prepare Americans for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn, and exchange experiences in the United States.
This year’s theme is “International Education: Learning Matters Around the World.” To learn more about International Education Week, visit the state department’s website. A full schedule of events at UNL is available here.
