The Lincoln Friends of Foreign Students is looking for participation from faculty, staff and members of the public. The program pairs new UNL international students with Lincoln-area individuals, couples or families to share culture and provide friendship.
Lincoln Friends of Foreign Students is not a hosting program. Students provide their own accommodations while studying at UNL. The purpose of the program is to give international students a glimpse into American life and culture, while also allowing these students to share their own culture.
Program participants are asked to make contact with their international student at least once a month. Contacts can range from a phone call to an invitation to spend a day or evening. For more information or application forms, go to http://www.unl.edu/lffs.
