On Sept. 10, Timothy J. Wengert, the foremost Luther scholar in America, and a leader in international Lutheran theology and history, will be speaking at the Lutheran Center on the UNL campus.
Wengert’s address is part of the Lutheran Center’s “Vocatio Speaker Series,” which focuses on Christian vocation.
The address titled, “Changing Diapers and Hauling Manure to the Glory of God: Luther on Christian Vocations” will begin at 8 p.m. in the Lutheran Center’s chapel.
The “Vocatio Speaker Series” is supported by a grant from the Lilly Endowment, Inc.
