Music faculty combine for night of music

The Glenn Korff School of Music will present Arnold Schoenberg's "Pierrot Lunaire" at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 9 in the Kimball Recital Hall. The concert is free and open to the public. It will also be webcast.

Music faculty Diane Barger, Mark Clinton and Jeff McCray will combine for a 7:30 p.m. Jan. 21 recital in Kimball Hall.

The program features two works originally composed for clarinet, bassoon, and piano — William Hurlstone’s Variations in G minor and Bill Douglas’s Trio No. 2 — and two compositions written for clarinet, piano, and a string instrument — Max Bruch’s Acht Stücke, op. 83 (viola) and Robert Muczynski’s Fantasy Trio, op. 26 (cello).
