Oliver Simic, a senior horticulture major from Eagle, prepares cultivars for horticulture labs and plant propagation courses in an East Campus greenhouse on June 4. The trees will be used in fall courses at UNL and the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Bill Gustafson, emeritus professor of agronomy and horticulture, is training Simic and other student workers how to prepare the cultivars for classroom use.
