Sessions to explore benefits of heart-healthy diet

Spring Into...Eating Well for Your Heart & Soul

UNL Wellness is offering a program on the benefits of heart-healthy meals. The session, “Eating Well for Your Heart and Soul,” is 12:10 to 1 p.m. March 17 in the Nebraska Union, and March 19 in the East Union.

The program is free and open to students, faculty and staff. It will include guidelines for heart-healthy eating; techniques to menu plan for heart health and weight management; recipes for meals of five ingredients or less; and the connection between mood and food.

Participants are encouraged to bring a brown bag lunch.
