UCARE to hold workshops; summer application opens Oct. 28

UCARE supports undergraduate work with UNL faculty members engaged in research and creative activities. Undergraduate students who have completed at least 30 credit hours by May 2015 are eligible to apply for a UCARE undergraduate research assistantship for summer 2015 and/or for the 2015-16 academic year.

The Undergraduate Creative Activity and Research Experience program is holding informational workshops beginning Oct. 28, the same day the summer 2015 application opens.

UCARE supports undergraduate work with UNL faculty members engaged in research and creative activities. Undergraduate students who have completed at least 30 credit hours by May 2015 are eligible to apply for a UCARE undergraduate research assistantship for summer 2015 and/or for the 2015-16 academic year.

Summer 2015 applications will be accepted online from Oct. 28 to Jan. 13. Academic year 2015-2016 applications will be accepted online from Jan. 21 to March 23.

UCARE will be offering informational workshops about the program that will show applicants how to identify and select a faculty adviser; develop a UCARE research abstract; and assemble and submit a UCARE application.

Nebraska Union

  • 3 p.m., Oct. 28

  • 4 p.m., Nov. 19

  • 3 p.m., Jan. 21

East Union

  • 3 p.m., Oct. 29

  • 4 p.m., Nov. 18

  • 4 p.m., Jan. 22
