The Lied Center for Performing Arts is offering VIP tickets to the annual Jazz in June concert series.
Organized by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, the free, annual concert series draws thousands to the sculpture gardens near Sheldon Museum of Art. Concerts are 7 p.m. each Tuesday in June. The 25th season opens June 7 with 10-time Grammy Award winner Arturo Sandoval.
While the event is free and open to the public, VIP tickets offer a guaranteed seat in a section immediately in front of the Jazz in June stage. VIP ticketholders also receive free food from a vendor in the Jazz in June marketplace; a meet and greet with the featured performer; and half price Jazz in June T-shirts.
Available through the Lied website and box office, a VIP season pass for all four 2016 concerts is $80. Individual week VIP tickets are $25.
Other featured performers in the 2016 season are: June 14, Lao Tizer; June 21, Jackie Allen; and June 28, Tim Doherty’s Nine Plus One.
