First-generation college students participate in a First Husker program event prior to the start of the fall 2022 semester. First Husker is one of numerous UNL programs that support first-generation students. The four-day, foundational event gives students an opportunity to explore campus early; connect with faculty, staff and resource centers; and learn about skills and strategies necessary for college-level success.
