Three of UNL’s most visible and inclusive choral ensembles will combine for a 3 p.m. Oct. 11 concert in Kimball Recital Hall.
The ensembles — the Women’s University Chorale, All-Collegiate Choir and Varsity Men’s Chorus — are composed of students from across campus, including music majors and non-music majors.
The “An Afternoon of Choirs” performance will include music from the Renaissance, and that composed by Mozart, all the way to that which was composed recently. The music will also encompass cultures and languages from many continents plus music from our own American traditions.
Tickets, available at the door, are $5 general admission and $3 for students (with valid identification) and senior citizens.
The performance will be live webcast at http://arts.unl.edu/music/webcasts.
