The Minority Health Disparities Initiative Conversation Series continues with an April 3 discussion on “Enhancing Healthcare Access Among Immigrant Latinxs.”
The presentation, led by Trey Andrews, assistant professor of psychology and director of the Latino Mental Health and Treatment Outcomes Lab, is 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 3 in the Jackie Gaughan Multicultural Center, Room 212.
The event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided. Registration, due by March 20, is required.
In the presentation, Andrews will highlight challenges that Latinx immigrants face in accessing mental and physical health services. He will also lead a discussion with participants, exploring ways to improve access to effective care for Latinx populations.
