Annual ceramic, photo print sales are Dec. 13-14

Patrons examine ceramics offered at a previous UNL Clay Club Winter Sale and Raffle in Richards Hall. The annual fundraisers for the UNL Clay Club and Fine Art Photo Club are Dec. 13-14.

Student clubs within the Department of Art and Art History will host annual sales of ceramics and prints on Dec. 13-14.

The UNL Clay Club’s Winter Sale and Raffle is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Dec. 13 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Dec. 14 in Richards Hall, room 118.

The sale will include ceramic work created by undergraduates, graduate students and alumni, and a raffle for pieces donated by students and faculty. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. The drawing is 5 p.m. Dec. 14. Entrants need not be present to win.

Profits from the ceramics sale help fund the Clay Club’s visiting artist program, conference attendance and field trips.

A Clay Sale Preview, hosted by Gail Kendall, professor emeritus of art, is 8:30 a.m. Dec. 13. To register for the preview, send email to unl.claypreview@gmail.com.

The UNL Fine Art Photo Club Sale and Raffle is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Dec. 13-14 in Richards Hall, room 121.

Student prints will be available for $20 to $80. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Raffle items include prints by professor Dana Fritz and graduate students Amanda Brietbach, Chadric Devin and Allen Morris, as well as a signed book by Keith F. Davis, senior curator of photography at Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City.
